Published: Thu, July 19, 2007 @ 12:39 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — Bobby Mock’s lengthy criminal career may be over for good, after he was arrested following a three-hours standoff with police Wednesday, say police.

Mock, 38, of Austintown, appeared exhausted when he appeared before Judge Robert Douglas in Youngstown Municipal Court today, nodding off during at one point.

He is charged with 13 felonies in a month-long crime spree in which he and accomplice Brian Simione, 33, stole an ATM machine from a Sparkle Market.

Prosecutor Jay Macejko said Mock will likely be charged with 6 additional crimes in Youngstown Municipal Court. He will be charged with kidnapping in yesterday's hostage situation standoff in a Trumbull County courtroom.

Said Detective Jason Simon: “We’re hoping that, with all these charges and the charges coming from other counties, the community won’t have to worry about these individuals for a long time.

Simione was also arraigned today. Judge Douglas set bond at $500,000 in his case; Mock’s was set at $1.3 million.
