Tickets available for food bank benefit

YOUNGSTOWN — The 16th annual Taste of the Valley will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 at Stambaugh Auditorium as a benefit for Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley.

Featured will be appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages presented by 30 of the valley’s finest dining establishments. There will be a live auction of such things as a 400 square foot putting green, a week at Myrtle Beach, airline tickets and jewelry. For each $1 raised, the food bank can distribute $15 worth of food to needy families in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

Corporate tables are $350 to $700, and individual tickets are $75.
