The Cellar, 162 S. Bridge St., Struthers, will be the site of a benefit concert to be held from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday as a benefit for Belinda Poole who is suffering from primary lateral sclerosis and needs a surgically implanted Baciofen pump. There will be a silent auction and raffle for donated gift baskets and certificates and entertainment by The Houseband, R.P.M., No Xcuse and Jared Farrell. The 75th annual Serbian Day picnic will begin at noon Sunday at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. Entertainment will be by Libby’s Tamburitzans from noon to 4 p.m. and by Melvin Evanovich and The Balkan Serenaders from 4 to 9. Available will be such traditional foods as chicken paprikash, barbecued lamb and pork, kielbasi and sauerkraut sandwiches, hot dogs and grilled cevapcici dinners. There will be games for children.
Lifecare Ministry Center, 5357 Raccoon Road, Canfield, will hold a garage sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Donations of clean useable items for the sale will be accepted between 5:15 and 5:30 p.m. and from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. The rain date will be 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
