June 30

Public indecency: A father and son from Youngstown were stopped by police for public indecency and exposure after they urinated near trees that separate the BP Gas Station, 599 E. Main St., and Perkins Restaurant. The pair — the father, 46, and the son, 27 — admitted they were intoxicated and called and had their car towed away.

July 2

Theft: An iPod with care speaker connection and an MP3 player were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Southview Road.

Thursday

Drug possession: A 21-year-old Canfield man was arrested for drug abuse of marijuana after police found a plastic bag containing 3 grams of the substance on him at Callahan Road.

July 2

Theft: A purse containing $800 and a digital camera was stolen at The Gatsby, 54 Westchester Drive.

Theft: $30 in gasoline was stolen from Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Burglary: Copper plumbing was taken from a home in the 200 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

July 3

Felonious assault: A man rammed a vehicle with a transport bus from Michigan at Silica Road and state Route 46 and was placed in county jail.

Auto theft: A 1997 red Ford F-150 XLT pickup truck was stolen from R.P.M. Motors, 3698 S. Meridian Road.

Auto theft: A 1990 maroon Buick Century was stolen at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Pine Trace Drive.

Attempted auto theft: A vehicle's steering column was damaged at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: Siding on a home was damaged in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Drive.

Theft: A check was stolen and cashed at a home in the 3000 block of Maple Spring Drive.

Wednesday

Attempted burglary: An attempt was made to enter a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road, but no entry was gained.

Auto theft: A 1988 Chevrolet K 2500 four-wheel drive truck was stolen at Noday’s, 1381 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damage: Glass in a door was shattered at 3 Sisters, 3649 Canfield Road.

Theft: A hammock was stolen from a home in the 200 block of South Beverly Avenue.

Breaking and entering: $200 was stolen from a register after thieves gained entry through an open window at Marino’s, 5423 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $84 in fuel was stolen from a Sheetz gas station.

Thursday

Theft: An amplifier and a remote were stolen from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A car had a dented roof and scratches to the window and de-icer in the parking lot in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.

Breaking and entering: A wallet and coins were stolen from an office at Theodore’s, 1400 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: $40.01 in fuel was taken at the BP gas station, 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Sandalwood Court.

Theft from auto: An AM-FM compact disc player was stolen from a home in the 100 block of South Meridian Road.

Theft from auto: A Playstation 2 was taken from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.

Theft: $11.52 in fuel was taken from McQuaid’s, 702 N. Meridian Road.

Breaking and entering: Salon Extravaganza, 3649 Canfield Road was entered through the front door.

Attempted breaking and entering: Thieves attempted to gain access through a rear door at Belleria Pizza, 3640 S. Meridian Road.

Friday

Theft from auto: A CD player and compact discs were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of New Road.

Criminal damaging: A rear windshield was shattered on a vehicle in the 10 block of North Raccoon Road.

Theft from vehicle: An AM-FM compact disc in-dash player was stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft from auto: An Alpine CD player was stolen with dash damage from an auto in the driveway in the 500 block of Southward Drive.

Breaking and entering: Cash was stolen and the front door broken at Great Cuts, 4435 Mahoning Ave.

Theft from auto: A Pioneer car stereo face place was stolen with dash damage from a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 500 block of Southward Drive.

Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown at a vehicle in the 100 block of Paisley Avenue.

Burglary: Entry was gained but nothing was stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft from auto: A stereo was stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: $13.56 in fuel was stolen from Sheetz gas station.

Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damage: Siding was hit by unknown objects at a home in the 5000 block of Baylor Avenue.

Saturday

Drug Offense: A Youngstown man was arrested for possession of marijuana at Mahoning Avenue and Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: The entrance door and frame were damaged and cash was stolen from the drawer at Gary’s Hair Scene, 4372 Mahoning Ave.

Deal plate: A dealer plate was lost or stolen.

Theft: $45.71 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: $31.11 in fuel was stolen at Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: $15 in fuel was stolen at Sheetz gas station.

Burglary: Guns were taken and there was extensive damage to the house in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.

Sunday

Theft: Money was taken at Taco Bell, 851 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Prescription drugs and a cell phone were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.

Theft: UPS packages with sports items were stolen from the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen at Wal-Mart.

Criminal damaging: Four juveniles were caught breaking windows at Austintown Middle School, 5800 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Alderwood Drive.
