Children set Warren house ablaze

WARREN — Children playing behind a vacant house set fire to a debris pile, and the fire spread to the house, said the city fire department.

No one was injured in the blaze at 1730 Deerfield Ave., which began around 4:30 p.m.

The fire went up the back wall of the single-story house and caught the roof on fire. The damage estimate is $15,000.
