Antinone’s 2-hitter nets Metros 5-0 win

YOUNGSTOWN — Joe Antinone pitched a complete-game two-hitter with five strikeouts to lead the Youngstown Metros to a 5-0 victory over the Columbus Hawks in a Tri-State College League game Sunday at Pemberton Park.

C.J. Morris had two singles for the Metros who scored twice in the second inning and three more times in the third.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Hawks scored twice in the top of the 10th inning to gain a split of the doubleheader.

The Metros, who led 2-0 in the first inning, pushed across a tally in the seventh to knot it at 3-apiece.

Anthony Porter singled twice for the Metros.
