TRUMBULL COUNTY FAIR Events

Here is a schedule of events for the 161st Trumbull County Fair, 899 Everett-Hull Road, Bazetta Township:

TODAY

Set up day.

Noon to 3 p.m., Domestic arts, culinary arts canned goods only, fine arts and photography entries taken.

1 to 9 p.m., Exhibit/Booth setup.

MONDAY

Set up.

9 a.m.. to 9 p.m., Exhibit/booth setup, Junior Fair Equine, art/photo entries taken.

2 to 7 p.m., Spaghetti dinner to saddle horse area.

4 to 6 p.m. 4-H Saddle horse four station judging.

6 p.m., Junior fair queen to historical stage.

TUESDAY

Free admission to all veterans with proper identification.

8 a.m., Admission Gate C/remaining gates open at 10 a.m.

8 a.m., 10 a.m., Flower show entries taken.

9 a.m., 11 a.m., Open class baked goods accepted.

10 a.m. to noon, Junior fair rabbit/Cavy health check/weigh in.

1 to 5 p.m., Rides open.

1 p.m., Flower show opens.

2 to 4 p.m., Junior fair rabbit/Cavy health check/weigh in.

3 to 5 p.m. 4-H Saddle horse four station judging.

3:30 p.m., Goat health check.

4 p.m., Miss Trumbull County Fair pageant to bicentennial stage

4:30 p.m., Dairy feeder weigh in/Saddle horse judging team competition to Sawyer ring.

5 p.m., 4-H style show to Historical stage.

6 p.m., Opening ceremony to across from cattle area/Junior Fair royal court to Historical stage.

6 to 11 p.m., rides open

6:30 p.m., School bus racing to grandstand/parade of colors march.

7 to 10 p.m., Disc jockey Colleen to bicentennial stage.

7:30 p.m., Parade of colors competition to Sawyer ring.

10 p.m., Gates close.

WEDNESDAY

Commissioner’s Day.

8 a.m., Admission Gate C/remaining gates open at 10 a.m.

9 a.m., Open to class rabbit show with Junior fair rabbit show to follow.

9 a.m., Junior fair sheep show with open to class show to follow/PAS horse show to Sawyer ring.

9:30 a.m., Junior fair dairy beef/dairy feeder show.

1 to 5 p.m., Rides open.

4 p.m., Junior fair booth judging/open to class boer, pygmy and meat goat show.

5 p.m., Junior fair market hog showmanship and show horseman and show horsewoman.

5:30 p.m., Hot Laps to grandstand.

6 p.m., Auto races to grandstand.

6 to 11 p.m., rides open.

6:30 p.m., 4-H Saddle horse recognition of graduates to Sawyer ring.

7 p.m., Cassandra Dines to bicentennial stage/disc jockey Pete Hanan to Historical stage.

7:30 p.m., 4-H Saddle horse recognition of State Fair representatives.

8 p.m., Junior fair cheese auction to dairy arena.

10 p.m., Gates close.

THURSDAY

8 a.m., Admission Gate C/remaining gates open at 10 a.m.

9 a.m., Junior fair cat judging /4-H Saddle horse contest show to Sawyer ring.

1 to 5 p.m., Rides open.

5 p.m., Junior fair poultry show.

5:30 p.m., Hot Laps to grandstand.

6 p.m., Auto races to grandstand/Junior fair market beef show.

6 to 11 p.m., Rides open.

7 to 10 p.m., Del Sinchak Polka Band to bicentennial stage.

10 p.m., Gates close.

FRIDAY

8 a.m., Admission Gate C/remaining gates open at 10 a.m.

9:30 a.m., Junior fair dairy show.

10 a.m., Open to class draft horse judging to draft horse show ring/4-H Saddle horse fun class to Sawyer ring.

11 a.m., 4-H freestyle riding to Sawyer ring.

Noon, Junior fair beef showmanship and breed show with open to class beef judging to follow/4-H Saddle horse fun games to Sawyer ring.

1 to 5 p.m., Rides open.

4 p.m., Tack check for 4-H saddle horse versatility show.

5 p.m., 4-H versatility horse show to Sawyer ring.

6 p.m., Open to class dairy goat show.

6 to 11 p.m., Rides open.

6:30 p.m., Demolition derby to grandstand.

7 to 10 p.m., Guys Without Ties to bicentennial stage.

10 p.m., Gates close.

SATURDAY

8 a.m., Admission Gate C/remaining gates open at 10 a.m.

9 a.m., 4-H Saddle horse western pleasure show to Sawyer ring/Open to class dairy cattle show.

10 a.m., Open to class draft horse and pony/half linger hitch show to draft horse ring.

1 to 5 p.m., Rides open.

1 p.m., Junior fair livestock sale to sale barn.

3 p.m., 4-H saddle horse lead to line class to Sawyer ring.

6 p.m., Tractor pull to grandstand.

6 to 11 p.m., Rides open.

7 to 8 p.m., Country wranglers to historical stage.

7 to 10 p.m., Country way to bicentennial stage.

7:30 p.m., 4-H Saddle horse stick horse costume class to Sawyer ring.

8 p.m., 4-H Saddle horse costume class to Sawyer ring.

10 p.m., Gates close.

SUNDAY

8 a.m., Admission Gate C/remaining gates open at 10 a.m./Super showmanship.

10 a.m., 4-H saddle horse English show to Sawyer ring.

10 to 2 p.m., Draft horse pull to grandstand.

1 to 4 p.m., Glory Bound to bicentennial stage.

1 to 5 p.m., Rides open.

6 to 9 p.m., Rides open.

6:30 p.m., Demolition Derby to grandstand with fireworks.

7 to 8 p.m., Country wranglers to Historical stage.

7 to 10 p.m., Disc jockey Colleen to bicentennial stage.

7:30 p.m., Release livestock sale animals.

8 p.m., Gates close/release horses, dairy, open to class animals.

8:30 p.m., Release small animals.

9 p.m., Nonanimal exhibit release.

11 p.m., Concessionaire’s release.
