Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet Wednesday at The Stockyard, U.S. Route 224, Canfield. A 5:30 p.m. social will precede dinner at 6, and a short business meeting will follow. McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 9 a.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Blue Devil Room at the high school.


Struthers K. of C. Ladies of Struthers will meet at 6 p.m. Monday for a picnic at the home of Pat Repasky, who will be assisted by Dorothy Popio and Rhonda Capan. Games will be played.

VFW Post 3538 Auxiliary will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the post home. Helen Tablack will preside, and a social will follow.


Woodrow Wilson High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the 1946 and 1948 classes are also welcome. Reservations are due for the 60th reunion to be held Aug. 18.

Youngstown Women’s Connection will hold a “Young At Heart” youth guest day luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Italian American Veterans Center, 115 S. Meridian Road, Austintown. Girard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Girard Free Library.


Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. The guild’s 23rd anniversary will be observed, and officers will be installed.


St. Anthony’s Auxiliary of Struthers will hold a salad and sundae buffet for members only at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the clubrooms on Lowellville Road. Members will be contacted by the telephone committee for reservations. Arlene DeChellis will give an update on upcoming events, and hostesses will be Julie Visingardi, Carmel Quattro, Mary Quattro, Carol Mogulich, Rita Varacalli and Joann Amendola.

St. Rose Quilting Group meets at 10 a.m. every Wednesday at the parish house.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Easter Seals Day Center, 721 Boardman-Poland Road. Alzheimer’s Association’s support group for people with early stage memory loss will meet at 1 p.m. Monday. The meeting is free and open to all people and their families affected by a diagnosis of cognitive impairment such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia and Lewy body disease, but a brief screening process is involved before participating in the group. Fred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson’s Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. Miriam Whetstone and Ralph Cascarelli will host a picnic in the pavilion behind the church. Hot dogs, buns, condiments and beverages will be provided. Those attending are asked to take table service along with a casserole, salad or dessert.
