Woman killed in snowmobile accident


BUTLER, Pa. (AP) _ A woman who was a passenger on a snowmobile hit her head on a utility pole guy wire and died, police said.

Sandra Herold, 61, of Prospect, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the crash around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said James Raisley, 53, of Slippery Rock, was driving the snowmobile on Moniteau High School property in Cherry Township when he went between the utility pole and the wire.
