Talk-show host Reagan to visit, present lecture
The lecture series will highlight Ronald Reagan's contributions.
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Radio talk-show host Michael Reagan will visit Grove City College on Feb. 22 to present the inaugural Ronald Reagan Lecture, sponsored by The Center for Vision & amp; Values at Grove City College.
The lecture will be at 7 p.m. in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center.
The Ronald Reagan Lecture will be each year around Feb. 6, the anniversary of Ronald Reagan's birth. The lecture series aims to bring to light his contributions to America and to history. Each year, the center will host an individual who worked for, knew or has produced important work on the 40th U.S. president. The lectures will be geared toward Grove City College students, scholars, thinkers and community members.
Michael Reagan, the adopted son of Ronald Reagan, is heard daily by five million listeners via his nationally syndicated talk radio program, "The Michael Reagan Show," airing on 200 stations and at www.radioamerica.com. He serves on the board for The John Douglas French Alzheimer's Foundation and has written many books, including his best-selling autobiography "On the Outside Looking In," as well as "The Common Sense of An Uncommon Man: The Wit, Wisdom and Eternal Optimism of Ronald Reagan" and "Twice Adopted." Reagan lives with his wife and two children in California.

Also, Dr. Paul Kengor, associate professor of political science and executive director of The Center for Vision & amp; Values, will be the featured speaker at a luncheon honoring Ronald Reagan's Feb. 6 birthday. Kengor will discuss his critically acclaimed book, "The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism," an account of Reagan's efforts to bring down the Soviet Union.
The luncheon, hosted by the Allegheny Institute, will be at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh from noon to 2 p.m. The fee is 25 per person, payable by check at the address below or at the event. Books will be available to buy and for signing by Kengor.
