Notes: The Penguins suffered their third straight loss falling to UW-Green Bay on Thursday night 59-49 after a poor shooting performance. The Penguins shot just 32 percent against the Phoenix and were 9-for-20 from the free throw line. The Penguins played well enough defensively to win the game and committed 11 turnovers, but couldn't put the ball through the hoop. Quin Humphrey led the Penguins with 17 points, but made just 8-of-25 attempts from the field including 0-for-6 from 3 point range. UW-Milwaukee won for the first time on the road this season when it defeated Cleveland State 60-48 on Thursday night. The Panthers had lost eighth straight away from home. The Penguins already own a victory this season over the Panthers as they posted a 68-65 win in Milwaukee back on Dec. 10.

Notes: The Penguins snapped a three-game losing streak in the Horizon League with an impressive 67-62 win over Illinois-Chicago in Chicago last Saturday. Detroit also snapped a three-game losing streak with a 64-61 win over Cleveland State in Cleveland on Thursday night. The win was the Titans first win on the road this season after six straight losses. The Titans hold a 10-7 edge over the Penguins in the series, but YSU is 6-2 at home against the Titans. YSU dropped a pair of games to the Titans last season losing 77-48 at home and 69-62 in Detroit. YSU's last win against Detroit was in 2005 when they beat the Titans 71-68 in Youngstown.
