Ted Ginn Jr.'s foot injury was a factor in tonight's game, but it didn't affect the outcome. Florida was by far the better team and, given the same circumstances, would win a majority of the time against this Buckeye squad.
The Gators were faster on the edges, stronger up front and really, never gave Ohio State an opportunity to stay in the game. Even when it was 21-14 in the second quarter, there was never the feeling that the Buckeyes could stop Florida if they really had to.
Still, this one loss shouldn't diminish the fact the Buckeyes won 12 straight games and the outright Big Ten championship. Unfortunately for this group of 19 seniors, what will be remembered is not their 4-1 record against Michigan, but the final game, a blowout loss, of their careers.
