Pa. man killed by Baltimore Co. police

ESSEX, Md. (AP) -- A Pennsylvania man visiting friends in Baltimore County was shot and killed by county officers Saturday night after he got out of a moving car and began firing at them, police said.
The man was identified Sunday as Justin Wylbzynski, 21, of Berwick, Pa.
According to police, Wylbzynski fired several shots, some of which pierced the windshield of a police car. No officers were injured. The three officers involved in the shooting were placed on routine administrative leave.
Police were called around 8:30 p.m. to break up a fight at the bar of the Silver Dome Lounge in Essex. When officers arrived, Wylbzynski got in his car and fled, and officers, who were told he had a gun, pursued him.
A short time later, police said, Wylbzynski jumped out of his moving car and walked toward the officers, firing several shots. The officers returned fire, striking Wylbzynski, who was pronounced dead at a hospital.
