GIRARD -- The well-child immunization clinic is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Girard Health Department, 100 W. Main St. The clinic is free of charge to Girard City residents. Parents are reminded to bring a copy of their child's immunization record, and a parent or guardian must accompany children under the age of 18. Preregistration is required. Healthy baby series
BOARDMAN -- St. Elizabeth Health Center offers Healthy Mom/Healthy Baby, a free community lecture series that will benefit prospective parents, parents and other family members. The general public is also invited to attend the sessions, which are from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6, 13 and 20 at Babies "R" Us, 1240 Doral Drive, Boardman. An eight-week arthritis exercise program, sponsored by Eschman Physical Therapy of Howland and the Arthritis Foundation, is offered at two SCOPE locations beginning in January. They are: Niles Senior Citizens Center, 14 E. State St., Niles, on Monday's from 3 to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m. to noon; and the Howland Senior Citizens Center, 8273 High St., Howland, on Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m. and Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. Preregistration is required.
