YOUNGSTOWN — A 17-year-old East Florida Avenue boy accused in the Dec. 30 shooting death of Anthony Perez was arrested Thursday and taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center.

Darin Davis of East Florida Avenue was found at the Red Roof Inn in Boardman by members of the Youngstown Police Department Street Crimes Unit and U.S. marshals fugitive task force who received a tip from township police.

YPD Capt. Kenneth Centorame, chief of detectives, said a warrant was also issued for another suspect, Reshaud Biggs, 20.

Perez, 31, was shot and killed at his brother’s home on the South Side in a dispute over a stolen car, reports show.
