72 hours to go - Buckeyes and Gators
It's easy to pick out the Florida-based writers down here in Phoenix - they wear some awful flowered shirts and a few of the television talking heads were actually wearing sunglasses inside the DOMED University of Phoenix Stadium. I know, pretty petty stuff, but after 3 days of being jostled by the TV cameras and listening to some of the dumbest questions, it's a little embarrassing to admit I'm in the same profession as some of those people.
Well, none of you probably care about my troubles, right. You'd rather know what I think about the game. Well, here it is (I was going to wait until Sunday's post, but I've become more convinced after every day I hear the coaches and players.)
Ohio State 34, Florida 24. Both offenses will move the ball, but the difference will be Ohio State's defense putting pressure on Florida quarterback Chris Leak and forcing him to make errors, and special teams. Yes, the Gators do a great job of blocking kicks but overall, the Buckeyes' kicking game is more consistent and will prove to be a major factor in the outcome.
Let's hear it - agree or disagree?
