CANFIELD
Dec. 20
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was smashed at a home in the 40 block of Topaz Circle.
Dec. 29
Attempted breaking and entering: A resident of the 300 block of Oak Drive reported she was awakened from a nap by a man knocking on her back door. She discovered a cut in her window screen.
Dec. 30
Theft: A vehicle was stripped of a car stereo, a stereo speaker, two car stereo amplifiers, a gray carpeted speaker box, wiring for the car, and amplifier and documents from the glove box at a home in the 200 block of East Main Street.
Dec. 31
Missing jewelry: Three platinum rings, one an engagement ring and two others with diamond baguettes on them, were reported missing in the 20 block of Camelot Court.

Dec. 25
Theft: A stereo was taken from a vehicle at a home in the 100 block of Idlewood Road.
Theft: Loose change and a pack of cigarettes were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 3000 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Dec. 26
Theft: A total of 60 in fuel was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Dec. 27
Theft: An employee is a suspect in theft at Work Wear Depot, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An undetermined amount of money was stolen from a victim while visiting a friend at a home in the 7000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.
Attempted breaking and entering: A door handle was damaged at BCD Inc., 5208 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: A door was found open but nothing was reported missing at the Allied Behavioral Health, 5204 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A total of 69 in fuel was stolen on two separate occasions from the Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A rear window was hit by a BB pellet at Chef's House, 7 N. Edgehill Ave.
Aggravated robbery: A male victim claims he was carjacked at Mahoning Avenue and Four Mile Run Road. Police later found the vehicle crashed into a tree on South Yorkshire Drive.
Criminal damaging: Windshields and rear windows of four vehicles were hit by BB pellets at the VFW Hall, 4150 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Six vehicles in a lot at King Kar Motors, 4120 Mahoning Ave. were damaged by BB pellets.
Aggravated burglary: Damage to a door lock and frame was reported at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Drug offense: Police charged an Austintown man with possession of suspected marijuana. He was arrested at New Road and Cider Mill Crossing.
Criminal mischief: Eggs and dog feces were thrown at house in the 1000 block of Raspberry Lane.

Criminal damaging: A windshield was broken at Billy's Bar, 40 S. Meridian Road.
Vehicle theft: A 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was stolen from Alpine Motors, 220 S. Meridian Road. Attempted auto theft: The driver's-side window was broken out and the steering column peeled on a 1996 GMC at Alpine Motors.
Attempted breaking and entering: A rear window was broken out and old phone lines cut at One Eyed Willies, 255 S. Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: A window was broken out and a stereo stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Theft: Credit cards and compact discs were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of New Road.
Breaking and entering: A fenced area was entered and metal scrap was stolen at Main Steel, 3805-B Hendricks Road.
Criminal damaging: A window and electric meter were damaged by a BB pellet in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.
Theft: House and car keys were stolen at The Wedge, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A man was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property and three counts of forgery at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A man is a suspect in an incident in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: The food bill was left unpaid at Quaker Steak & amp; Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd.

Theft: Police said checks were stolen by the victim's adult son at a home in the 200 block of South Meridian Road.
Theft: A loaded black handgun was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 7000 block of Fairview Road.
Theft: A Honda 400 EX all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Theft: Police arrested two juveniles on theft charges for taking merchandise from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Christmas lights were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of East Rockwell Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to a Youngstown man for drug abuse of suspected marijuana at North Meridian Road at LeHarps Road.
Criminal damaging: A man is accused of causing damage to a lawn and a mailbox in the 4400 block of Deer Creek Apartments.
Drug offense: Police charged a Youngstown man with possession of dangerous drugs after his arrest at state Route 46 and Interstate Boulevard.
Burglary: A rear door was pried open at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Criminal damaging: The word a-- was written on a car window with a paint stick at a home in the 5000 block of East Rockwell Road.
Theft: A garage door opener was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of West Rockwell Road.
Criminal damaging: A mailbox and light pole were damaged at a home in the 5000 block of East Rockwell Road.
Criminal damaging: A rear window and rear left quarter were damaged on a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix parked in the driveway of a home in the 4000 block of Kerrybrook Drive.
Theft: A four-pack of batteries was stolen from Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
