CAMPBELL -- A Reed Avenue man who made The Vindicator's "Fugitive of the Week" listing in Sunday's newspaper was back in custody at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Campbell police said Charles E. Hudson, 53, was found sleeping in his Reed Avenue home.
The FBI and Crime Stoppers of Greater Youngstown had identified him as a fugitive and were asking the public for help in locating him.
Police said they got a call from the FBI around 10 a.m. Sunday informing them that they had received a tip telling them that Hudson, wanted by the Violent Crimes Task Force, was asleep at the residence.
Two Campbell officers, joined by police from Struthers, Coitsville and Lowellville, set up a perimeter around the house before speaking with another occupant of the home, who told them that Hudson was asleep in a second-floor bedroom.
Officers entered the house, located Hudson and made the arrest without incident.
Hudson was taken to Mahoning County jail, where he was held pending a court appearance today.
Police said Hudson had felony warrants issued against him for breaking and entering and carrying a concealed weapon.
