XYOUNGSTOWN -- Hawaii was the honeymoon destination of Ryan A. Jankowski and his bride, the former Janelle M. Picciano, who were married at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at St. Dominic Church by the Rev. John Extejt.
A reception was held for the couple at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.
The bride, a daughter of Marty and Kathy Picciano of Poland, and the groom, a son of Ronald and Camille Jankowski of Toledo, live at 1500 N. Wabansia Ave., Chicago.
The bride's white ballgown featured an asymmetric side-draped sleeveless bodice with a sweetheart neckline, and the tufted skirt swept into a chapel train.
Violet-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Maura Picciano, and the bridesmaids, Megan Teckenbrock, Mimi Matkowski, Jill Gronewold and Katherine Deane. Flower girl was Kaitlyn Ramsey.
Jason Jankowski performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Gareth Jankowski, Daniel Picciano, Vince Barone and Jim Jones. Ringbearers were Ty Puckett and Spencer Jankowski, and guests were ushered by Peter Kepic.
Mrs. Jankowski graduated from St. Mary's College with a bachelor's degree in business administration and from the University of Notre Dame with a master's in accountancy. She is a senior tax consultant with Deloitte and Touche, LLP, Chicago.
Mr. Jankowski is a manager-CPA with Deloitte and Touche. He earned a bachelor's in business administration and a master's in accountancy at Miami University.
