PHILLIPSBURG, Ohio (AP) -- A utility truck and car crashed head-on just north of this western Ohio town, killing three and injuring another, authorities said.
Two police officers and a resident pulled the survivor from the back seat of the car. The man, identified by police as Scott Studebaker, 26, of Greenville, was in critical condition Monday at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, a nursing supervisor said.
Two people in the car and one in the truck were killed in the accident late Saturday on state Route 49, police said.
The victims have not been identified, the Montgomery County coroner's office said.
Phillipsburg is about 15 miles northwest of Dayton.
