Buckeyes invasion: The Austin chapter of the Ohio State Alumni Association estimates that 35,000 to 40,000 Buckeyes fans are coming to town for Saturday night's showdown against host Texas. Very, very few have tickets. Ticket brokers are selling tickets with an $85 face value for $450 to $3,000.
Still stewing: Ohio State center Doug Datish of Howland, reflecting on last year's 25-22 loss to Texas: "I'm not sure we deserved to win."
Just numbers: The Longhorns have won their last 21 games. ... Five true freshmen played in Ohio State's 35-12 victory over Northern Illinois on Saturday. ...
