Storkel scores twice as Poland romps

Nine players scored as the Bulldogs cruised to a 10-3 win for a 2-0 record.
EAST LIVERPOOL -- Kelly Storkel scored two goals as the Poland High girls soccer team posted a 10-3 victory over East Liverpool Thursday.
Jackie Cavalier, Kasey Eckman, Katie Hiznay, Shelby Ludt, Sam Robertson, Jill Roemer, Pam Shure and Maureen Malone added a goal apiece for the Bulldogs (2-0, 2-0 Metro Athletic Conference).
Jaymee McDougle scored two goals for the Potters (0-3, 0-2). Joelle Pillar had one.
Sam Stanich had four saves for Poland, while Janel Krafft had 23 saves for the Potters.
Maplewood 3, Bristol 0
MECCA -- Tori Spencer scored two goals for the Rockets (3-2, 1-0 Northeast Athletic Conference). Katya Domes scored the other goal.
Emily Paris, Erica Pinko and Chelsea Wolf each had an assist. Bonnee Clute had six saves.
Badger 6, Pymatuning Valley 0
KINSMAN -- Jenna Miller scored two goals, while Shawna McNeely, Amelia Deraway, Tiffany Snider and Sarah Smith had one apiece for the Braves (3-0). Sarah Dunfee had two assists, while Miller and Deraway each had one.
Jullee Clute had 22 saves for Pymatuning Valley.
CANFIELD -- Kyle Reese, Kevin Buck and Will Ferrando scored two goals apiece as Canfield shut out Campbell, 12-0.
David Kanotz, Jason Murdoch, Kurt Ulbricht, Jim Naples, Griffin Todd and Chad Richards each had a goal.
John Kanotz had three assists and Mario Nigro one for the Cardinals.
Alex Lopez, the Red Devils goalkeeper, had 19 saves.
Lordstown 4, Crestview 0
LORDSTOWN -- Ryan Pal and Julian Arciscewski each score two goals for the Red Devils (2-0).
Nate Rech, Pal, Pykit Theofolis each had an assist.
Adam Corll had 11 saves for the Rebels (4-1). Hobie Plat had seven saves for the Red Devils.
Mooney 3, Copley 1
STRUTHERS -- Dom DiPasquale scored two goals for the Cardinals (2-1) and Kyle Buxman added the third.
Timothy Beck had an assist for Mooney and Jonathon Critell got the win in goal.
Dan Revesz scored for Copley.
