IRISH FEBRESBRIAN MCCONNELLCAMPBELL -- Irish Febres, a daughter of Confessor and Lourdes Febres, 80 Chatham Lane, Youngstown, and Brian McConnell, a son of George and Liz McConnell, 56 Cheyenne Drive, Girard, were united in marriage Sept. 23 at Christ Community Church.
The Rev. Bill Rotar officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held later that day at Stambaugh Auditorium, Youngstown.
The bride wore a white gown, and red gowns were worn by her sister and honor attendant, Sara Ortiz of Hubbard, and her bridesmaids, Teresa Colon of Youngstown; Cathy Gerardino of Newton Falls, her cousin; Susan Livesay of Struthers; and Debbie Miller of Boardman. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Floria Gerardino of Newton Falls.
Chad McConnell of Girard was best man for his brother, and groomsmen were the bride's brothers, Daniel and Angel Febres, both of Youngstown; Aaron Monastra of Columbia, N.C.; and Dan Mershon of Dayton. The groom's cousin, Colin McConnell of Hubbard, was ring bearer, and the bride's nephew, Cristian Ortiz of Hubbard, was Bible bearer. Jef Schink of Girard was the usher.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and Youngstown College of Massotherapy as a licensed massage therapist. She is a physical therapist with Dr. Ronald Ruscitti in Lowellville and LaBella Vita Salon and Day Spa in Hubbard.
The groom, a crew leader at One Day Garages in Hubbard, graduated from Malone College in Canton with a degree in youth ministry.
After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Florida, the couple live at 1142 Patricia Ave. Girard.
