SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico (AP) -- The remnants of Tropical Storm Paul soaked Mexico's mainland Thursday, but the storm was forecast to dissipate quickly.
Paul, which had been a hurricane earlier in the week, weakened to a tropical depression before making landfall near La Reforma early Thursday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said. Paul caused some flooding in the Pacific coast communities of Sinaloa state, where at least 3,000 people had been evacuated.
