Vows are renewed at dinner party on Burrelli 50th
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Cataldo Burrelli of Youngstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their nuptial vows on Sept. 10 at Squaw Creek Country Club, where a dinner party was held in their honor.
Hosts for the occasion were their children and their spouses, Gregory and Beth Burrelli of Girard, Maureen and Sean Leach of Vienna, Carla and Daniel Perry of Canfield, and Joellen and Mark Stanley of Dublin. Also participating were the couple's five grandchildren.
Mr. Burrelli and the former Mafalda Iaderosa were united in marriage on Sept. 8, 1956, at Immaculate Conception Church.
Mr. Burrelli served in Germany from 1953-55 during the Korean Conflict. He was a teacher and an administrator for 35 years with Youngstown City Schools before retiring in 1996. He is the director and treasurer of Youngstown City Schools Credit Union and is a 40-year member of the Sons of Italy Lodge 858, where he has served in various positions including six years as vice president of the Grand Lodge of Ohio.
Mrs. Burrelli is a homemaker.
