Members of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity, above, and friends perform on a tropical-themed float that moves up Fifth Avenue during Youngstown State University's homecoming parade. At left, Jim Gruhlkey of Youngstown, left, a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, showed his school spirit Saturday by dressing as a penguin for the festivities. The YSU football team hosted Northern Iowa in Stambaugh Stadium. The parade and game were part of a series of Homecoming Week events. This year's homecoming will officially end with the Penguin Club Jamboree at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman, a fund-raising dinner for the university's general athletic scholarship fund.
