NEW MIDDLETOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 9 as Rachel Bradley, 213 Eastwood Drive, and Francisco Zayas III, 137 Caribou Drive, Boardman, were united in marriage by the Rev. Nicholas Shori at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
The couple left for a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, after a reception at St. Lucy Banquet Center, Campbell. They live at the bride's address.
Parents of the bride are the Rev. John and Joan Bradley of Caledonia. The groom is a son of Isabelle Zayas of Boardman and Francisco Zayas II of Elwood City, Pa.
The bride's white, strapless, A-line gown was embellished with pearls and beading on the bodice and chapel train.
Wearing navy-blue gowns were the honor attendant, Carla Archdeacon, and the bridesmaids, Lauren Bradley, the bride's sister; Tia Souders; Ashley Rodriguez; and the groom's sisters, Buff Zayas and Ali Stitt.
Stephan Szekely served as best man, and groomsmen were Joseph Graham, Scott Wygant, Lorne Laney, Mike Gebhardt and the groom's brother-in-law, Spencer Stitt.
The bride, a registered nurse at Cleveland Clinic, earned an associate in nursing at Mercy College of Northwest Ohio in Toledo and graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree.
The groom is a health-care associate with St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman and a paramedic with Clemente Ambulance in Struthers. He is pursuing a bachelor's in allied health at YSU.
