ALDERSON-BROADDUS COLLEGE, PHILIPPI, W.VA.

Amber Brunton, a freshman creative writing/marketing major from Mineral Ridge, will perform in the College Players Production of "Death by Chocolate" from Oct. 26-28 in the Withers-Brandon Lecture Hall on the A-B campus. Show times are 7 p.m. Brunton will portray Sweet Pea in this comedy/murder-mystery production. She is the daughter of Richard and Kimberley Brunton.

UNIVERSITY OF FINDLAY, FINDLAY, OHIO

Four area students were among the first to receive a crisp white lab coat at Findlay's School of Pharmacy's first White Coat Ceremony. Stephanie Boley, a senior pharmacy major and a 2003 graduate of Mathews High School, is the daughter of Janis and Mark Boley of Vienna. She is a member of the Pharmacy Student Organization and Academy of Students of Pharmacy. Joe Guidos, a senior pharmacy major, is the son of Cindy Hynes and Joe Guidos Jr., both of Lowellville. He is a 2000 graduate of Lowellville High School and a member of the Academy of Students of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Student Organization. Jason Harsanye, a senior pharmacy major, is the son of Karen and Glenn Harsanye of Austintown and is a 2001 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He is president of the Spanish Club. and a member of the Pharmacy Student Organization and Academy of Students of Pharmacy. Roy Palumbo, a senior pharmacy major, is the son of Linda and Roy Palumbo of Lowellville. He is a 2000 graduate of Lowellville High School and serves as vice president of the Pharmacy Student Organization and is a member of the Academy of Students of Pharmacy. The ceremony signifies the students' entrance into the third year of the six-year program

ASHLAND UNIVERSITY, ASHLAND, OHIO

Molly Makoski, daughter of Mark and Cheryl Makoski of Poland, and Heather Wasylink, daughter of Terry and Sheila Wasylink of Cortland, have been named to the varsity cheerleading squad. Makoski is majoring in speech communications. Wasylink is majoring in marketing.
