Holy Name Church to mark 90th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN -- Holy Name Church, 613 N. Lakeview Ave., will observe its 90th anniversary and 89th Eucharistic Days during a three-day event.
The Rev. Peter Haladaj of St. Rose Church, Girard, will officiate at a Mass at 6 p.m. Oct. 20.
Monsignor Peter M. Polando will preside at vespers at 6 p.m. Oct. 21 and the Rev. David Shortt, pastor of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, Wilson Avenue, will be homilist.
Monsignor Robert J. Siffrin, diocesan administrator, will be the main celebrant and homilist at 3 p.m. Oct. 22 at the conclusion of Eucharistic Days and the anniversary.
The Holy Name "Vatican" Choir will present a prelude of religious hymns at 2:30. A buffet banquet will follow at 5:30 at the Maronite Center on Meridian Road. The cost is $15. Reservations must be made by today by calling (330) 799-8873.
