Born: On Oct. 14, 1901, in Richmond Township, the only daughter of four children born to Carl and Emma Hall.
Married: Clarence L. Fobes in June 1926; he died in 1959.
Children: A daughter, Ruth Marie Parker of Howland, with whom she makes her home, and two sons, Norman Hall and Clarence Clifton, who are deceased.
Grandchildren: Nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Education: Attended a one-room schoolhouse from first through eighth grade.
Employment: Taught at a centralized school for six years.
Church affiliation: A member of Cortland Christian Church for more than 69 years, and is commonly referred to as "The Penny Lady," as she has counted pennies collected at the church for the past 20 years.
Achievements: She voted in 1920 during the first election in which women were allowed to vote, and has voted in all 22 presidential elections since that time.
Hobbies: Music, quilting and baking.
Celebration: Family will hold an open house reception in her honor from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Cortland Christian Church, 153 Grove Drive.
