CANFIELD -- The marriage of Sabrina Lavdis and Curt Arnold took place at 3 p.m. Sept. 2 at Emmanuel Community Church. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David Verzilli Sr.
After a reception at A La Carte Catering, the couple left on a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
They are living in Austintown.
The bride, a daughter of Dorothy Lavdis of Mesa, Ariz., is a weekend anchor and reporter for WYTV-33. She received a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Ohio State University in Columbus.
Steve and Debbie Arnold of Fort Atkinson, Wis., are the groom's parents. He is an online sales executive for He earned a bachelor's in electronic media at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
The bride's diamond-white strapless gown was embellished with beads and Swarovski crystals. It was fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, asymmetrical front drape and corset back.
Sarah Lavdis of Tempe, Ariz., was her sister's maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Shuana Hunt of Rimrock, Ariz.; Tricia Hamad of Berea; Nancy Schuessler of Hudson; and the groom's sister, Stacey Rottmann of Fort Atkinson. They wore apple-red dresses.
Chris Ott of Fort Atkinson served as best man, and groomsmen were Seth Hillebrandt and the groom's brother-in-law, Steve Rottmann, both of Fort Atkinson, and Andy Mueller and John Albrecht, both of Whitewater.
Ushers were the bride's brothers, David Lardell and Daniel Gillespie, both of Mesa, and Mark Rittenour of Akron.
