YOUNGSTOWN -- Randy Rodriquez Jones and his bride, the former Michele Denise Truman, left for a honeymoon in the Hawaiian islands after their Sept. 2 wedding at Price Memorial AME Zion Church.The Rev. Daniel Webb officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of David and Mary Jo Truman of Boardman and the son of Randolph and Myrtle Jones of Wheatland, Pa.
The couple were honored afterward during a reception at Antone's Banquet Center, Boardman.
The bride's white matte satin sheath gown was enhanced with beading and featured a trumpet skirt and cap sleeves.
Wearing apple-red gowns were Nakisha Peoples, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Jasmine Logan, Chandi Hogan, Michelle Faison, Rashaun Speed and Brandi Jefferson. Flower girls were Peyton Truman, Chyna Phillips and Kamira Brown.
Martin Klaus served as best man, and groomsmen were David Truman, Jeff Cox, Tony Butler, Dirul Nassar and Demetrius James. Ring bearer was Jordan Armour, and ushers were Curtis Avant, Curtis Jones, Bennie Jefferson, Orlando Jones, Rico Shannonhouse and Lamar Jefferson.
The couple are living in Streetsboro.
The bride, a graduate of Howard University College of Pharmacy, is a pharmacist with Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Streetsboro. The groom is the assistant pharmacy manager with Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Garfield Heights. He graduated from Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy.
