Fallats to celebrate 50th anniversary during event in November in Michigan

STRUTHERS -- A private family gathering will be held in Milford, Mich., in November in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Fallat Sr., 50 W. Oakland Ave., who will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
The former June DiLullo and Mr. Fallat were united in marriage on Oct. 6, 1956, at Lowellville United Methodist Church, where they are members.
Their family includes Cindy and John Mesmer of Struthers and Martin Fallat Jr. of Milford, who will be hosts for the observance; one grandson; and a step-granddaughter.
Mr. Fallat served with the U.S. Army in Guam during World War II. He was a strander and crane operator with Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co./LTV Steel Corp. in Struthers prior to retiring in 1979, and afterward was employed part time with Struthers Street Department. He is a past member of Struthers Athletic Club. His wife is a homemaker.
