Alzheimer's Association gala to be magical

Proceeds from the gala will provide services for area residents.
BOARDMAN -- The Greater East Ohio Area Chapter of the Alzheimer Association will present its spring gala May 19 at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Center.
"Make Magic Happen" is the theme chosen for the event that will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m.
A donation of $75 entitles the patron to dinner, a performance by a magician, musical entertainment by John Reese and Backbeat, and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will be used in the local community to support programs and services for individuals and families facing Alzheimer's disease. The chapter serves the largest number of people affected by Alzheimer's in Ohio.
For information about the purchase of tickets, on donating items for the silent auction or on becoming a corporate sponsor, contact Jeannine Donatelli, special events coordinator for the chapter, at (330) 533-3300.
