Feb. 25
Drug paraphernalia: Police charged a 29-year-old Canton man with possession of drug paraphernalia. The man was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on Main Street. Police found a backpack containing a brown bong.
March 1
Drug possession: Police arrested a 19-year-old Struthers woman at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. She is charged with illegal possession of drugs. Police said they found two Hydrocodone tablets and one Zyrtec tablet in her wallet.

Feb. 27
Breaking and entering: Tools were taken from CBI Construction Inc., 4890 Kirk Road.
Burglary: Entry was gained through the front door of a residence in the 5000 block of West Webb Road and an XBox and PlayStation game were stolen.
Theft: A vehicle was broken into at United Freezer, 650 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: A checkbook with money was stolen at McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: A woman's diamond ring was stolen from Island Tropics, 1502 S. Raccoon Road.
Feb. 28
Theft: A man's wallet was stolen at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal mischief: A portable lift was damaged at Sears, 5760 Interstate Boulevard.
Theft: XBox games and a jacket were stolen from a residence in the 90 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Lost or stolen property: Someone stole money from a wallet at a home in the 40 block of Atlanta Avenue.
Robbery: Police said a Salem man stole steaks from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave. Police charged him with theft and one count of assault. Police charged a female companion waiting for him outside with two counts of assault. Police said the man fled and the store manager and a patron chased him and tried to stop him. The woman attacked the manager and patron in the parking lot.
March 1
Breaking and entering: Two boys bikes were taken from an unattached garage at a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: Police said a 17-year-old juvenile was sent to the juvenile justice center after making dents and scratches on a car hood at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.
March 2
Property damage: Fence posts near pipes from construction were damaged in the 100 block of S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Attempted theft: Police are looking for a man described as driving a newer small yellow Pontiac wanted in an attempted auto theft at a home in the 400 block of Nantucket Drive.
Bad check: A bad check for $8,162 was presented to buy a 1998 Mercedes at Alpine Motors, 220 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: A man stole pain patches from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a man for stealing three steaks at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A driver's-side door window was damaged on a vehicle at a home in the 200 block of Vollmer Drive.
Theft: A total of $317 was stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.
March 3
Theft: A leather coat and a Sony face plate were taken from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Pine Trace Drive.
Theft: A cell phone and files were taken by an employee from Westgate Ford, 3680 LeHarps Road.
Criminal mischief: A house was egged in the 100 block of DeHoff Drive.
March 4
Drug offense: Police charged a Canfield man with possession of marijuana after his arrest at state Route 46 and Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damaging: Doors and a window were damaged in a laundry room in apartments in the 20 block of Wickliffe Circle.
Auto theft: A 2000 Chrysler Sebring was stolen from Fred Martin Ford, 4701 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Tires were slashed on a vehicle parked at a residence in the 3000 block of Monaca Avenue.
March 5
Drug offense: Police charged a Youngstown man with drug abuse and possession of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and dangerous drugs after his arrest at Noday's parking lot, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Attempted auto theft: A door lock and steering column were damaged and miscellaneous change was stolen in an attempted theft of an auto parked at a home in the 30 block of South Navarre Avenue.
Drug recovery: Suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were recovered at Rack's II, 4213 Mahoning Ave.
Attempted burglary: Suspects attempted to gain entry through the garage at a home in the 3000 block of Monaca Avenue.
Receiving stolen property: Police arrested a man and placed him in Mahoning County jail for receiving stolen license plates. He was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and North Edgehill Avenue.
