WESTMINSTER COLLEGE, NEW WILMINGTON, PA.
Akesha Joseph, daughter of Michael Blackwell of Boardman, has been elected financial chairwoman of the new student government for 2006-07. Joseph, a sophomore English major, is a graduate of Chaney High School. Lee Scott, son of Robert and Mary B. Scott of Butler, was elected academics chairman. Scott, a senior history major, is a graduate of Knoch High School. Kial Vidic, daughter of Cathleen Vidic of West Sunbury, Pa., was elected judicial chairwoman. Vidic, a sophomore political science and history major, is a graduate of Moniteau High School.
YOUNGSTOWN STATE UNIVERSITY
Janet Boehm, associate professor and director of clinical education in the respiratory care program, has been named a Life Member of the American Association for Respiratory Care. Boehm is being recognized for her years of service to the organization, which represents the nation's respiratory therapists. She has served the group in numerous capacities over the years, culminating with her presidency in 2004.
