CANFIELD
July 4
Falsification: Police arrested a 29-year-old Vienna man on charges of falsification, and driving an unsafe vehicle on East Main Street.
July 5
Drug charges: Police arrested a 46-year-old Youngstown man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse, possessing and concealing cocaine and a crack pipe with residue in it on West Main Street.
July 6
Drug paraphernalia: A 27-year-old Canfield man was arrested on West Main Street on a charge of drug paraphernalia after police found a silver marijuana pipe with marijuana residue in it.
Shoplifting: An employee of Giant Eagle at 525 E. Main St. reported merchandise stolen. Missing were razor blades valued at about $36.
July 7
Vandalism: Children put a white powder on a Dodge Ram 1500 at a Dartmouth Avenue residence.
July 8
Mutual aid: An officer who heard over the police scanner that a Liberty Township officer had been shot on Crestview drove to Liberty to assist.

Drug offenses: A Mogadore, Ohio, man was placed in Mahoning County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana, aggravated trafficking, possession of dangerous drugs, permitting drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle in the 5400 block of Seventy-SIx Drive.
Theft: A cosmetology bag filled with items was stolen from an auto in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Breaking and entering: Tools and other items were stolen from a storage shed in the 900 block of Ohltown Road.
Vandalism: A liquid was placed on the interior of a vehicle at a home in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Vandalism: A 1994 Jeep was broken into at a home in the 90 block of North Kimberly Avenue.
Dumping complaint: Unwanted dumping took place on a property in the 800 block of Ohltown Road.
Theft: Gift cards and an Ohio license were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Breaking and entering: At Cornersburg Beverage, 3625 Lynhaven Drive.
Theft: An Ohio license, credit cards and a checkbook were stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Baker Street.
Theft: Compact discs were stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Criminal damaging: A door glass was shot with a BB gun in the 4000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A door lock and wall-mounted air freshener were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Theft: $34 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Cash was stolen from apartments in the 2000 block of Sprucewood Drive, and screens on the car ports were damaged.
Theft: Clothing and money were stolen from an auto at a home in the 20 block of Kroek Avenue.

Curfew violation: Three boys were arrested on curfew violations at New Road and Northgate Avenue.
Breaking and entering: At the BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave. Cigarettes were stolen.
Theft: Compact discs and a stereo face plate were stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of Raspberry Lane.
Burglary: A door was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Easy Street. It is undetermined if any items are missing.
Theft: Fuel was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: Compact discs were taken from an auto in the 6000 block of Countryridge Drive.
Theft: Compact discs were taken from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Black Oak Lane.
Attempted burglary: Two men attempted to gain entry at a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Vehicle theft: A 125cc Yamaha motorcycle was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of DeHoff Drive.

Property damage: A garage door was hit by fireworks at a home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
