Feb. 14
Theft: Merchandise was stolen from Radio Shack, 7131 Tiffany Blvd.
Assault: A Carter Circle woman reported being assaulted at her residence.
Auto theft: A Boardman man discovered his vehicle was stolen while he was at the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal mischief: A woman in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue reported someone tossed a rock through a window at her home.
Theft: Youngstown police picked up and turned over to Boardman authorities a 33-year-old Youngstown woman wanted on a theft charge.
Arrest: A Boardman man, 34, was arrested in the 5700 block of Southern Boulevard. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with two counts of failure to appear in court.
Arrest: Officers arrested a 29-year-old Youngstown man in the 8300 block of Market Street wanted on two counts of driving under suspension.
Feb. 15
Vehicle theft: A van was stolen at the Southern Park Mall.
Identity theft: A man reported someone used his identity to open a Sprint PCS phone account.
Breaking and entering: An unoccupied home in the 600 block of Afton Avenue was broken into.
Theft: Items were stolen from a vehicle parked at Ohio Carpet, 4306 Market St.
Arrest: Boardman police arrested a 37-year-old Youngstown woman on a felony warrant charging her with forgery.
Drugs: Police took a Lisbon man, 33, into custody at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd. Charges against the man were possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug-abuse instruments and obstructing official business; the suspect also was wanted on a warrant charging him with assault.
Feb. 16
Burglary: A Forest Garden Drive residence was broken into.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged while parked near Market Street and Overhill Drive.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen in the Sparkle Market parking lot, 6315 Market St.
Theft: A worker at the Peskin Sign Co., 3991 Simon Road, reported the theft of a steel pipe.
Theft: A license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave.
Auto theft: A Youngstown woman reported her vehicle stolen from the Southern Park Mall.
Recovered property: Police found a car at the Tower Motel, 5235 Market St., that had been reported stolen. They arrested a 19-year-old Austintown woman on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The woman also was wanted on a warrant from Austintown charging her with the same crime.
Aggravated menacing: A man reported his and family members' lives were threatened while he was at the Boardman Inn, 7109 Market St.
Domestic violence: A Boardman man, 21, was arrested at the Mahoning County Jail and charged with one count of domestic violence.
Arrest: A 35-year-old Youngstown woman was taken into custody near Midlothian Boulevard and Hudson Drive. She was charged with failure to surrender as well as with a traffic violation.
Drugs: Police picked up a Boardman man, 21, near Market Street and Erskine Avenue on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest: Officers arrested a Boardman man, 22, near his Boardman-Canfield Road residence on a felony warrant from Youngstown charging him with fraud.
Citation: Police cited a 30-year-old Youngstown man in the 500 block of Boardman-Canfield Road on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Feb. 17
Theft: Food was taken from an unlocked trailer in the 1000 block of Tiffany Boulevard.
Recovered property: A car that had been stolen from the Southern Park Mall was found in the 7300 block of Market Street.
Theft: Someone stole equipment from a truck at Valley Office Solutions, 8534 South Ave.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Contemporary Furniture Inc., 8384 Market St., reported a storage shed was broken into and a vehicle damaged.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was vandalized while parked at Youngstown Sports Grill, 7463 South Ave.
Burglary: A home was broken into in the 60 block of Shadyside Drive.
Drugs: Officers arrested a 21-year-old man at his Aravesta Avenue residence on a warrant charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Arrest: Police picked up a Youngstown woman, 20, at Cochran's Sparkle Market, 4121 South Ave., on a warrant accusing her of forgery. She also was charged with obstructing official business.
Arrest: Officers took a 40-year-old man into custody at his Argyle Avenue home on a felony count of domestic violence.
Arrest: A 35-year-old Austintown man was arrested near Glenwood Avenue and Mill Creek Drive on a felony warrant from Struthers charging him with passing bad checks.
Arrest: Officers picked up a 39-year-old Youngstown woman in the 5600 block of Market Street when they found out she was wanted on a felony warrant accusing her of violating a court order.
Theft: A Youngstown man, 29, was arrested at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, on a warrant charging him with theft.
Drugs: While conducting a traffic stop near Glenwood Avenue and North Cadillac Drive, police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown woman on two counts of drug abuse.
Feb. 18
Possible theft: A woman reported her wallet lost or stolen while at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: A woman discovered money missing from her purse when she was at Dunkin' Donuts, 1301 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: A Boardman woman reported being assaulted at Sam's Club.
Theft: A woman reported a passenger-side window on her vehicle was broken and a compact-disc player stolen while she was at Walgreen Pharmacy, 525 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Theft: After responding to a report of someone stealing steaks from Sam's Club, police arrested a 37-year-old Youngstown man on a theft count. He also faced charges of possession of drugs, possession of drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft: Police arrested a 15-year-old Warren boy on a theft charge after jewelry was stolen from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: A 27-year-old Salem man was apprehended during a traffic stop in the township on a warrant from Columbiana County charging him with nonsupport of a child.
Stolen property: After pulling over a vehicle on South Avenue, officers arrested two Youngstown men, 29 and 41, and charged each with receiving stolen property. Police say they found in the car 12-packs of soda that had been stolen from Giant Eagle.
Theft: A woman in the 7200 block of Glendale Avenue reported the theft of a realty sign from her yard.
Auto theft: A Boardman man reported his 1984 Olds Delta 88 stolen from the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot, 7401 Market St.
Arrest: Police arrested a 51-year-old Youngstown man on a felony warrant from Boardman charging him with the theft of rental property. The man was accused of failing to return or pay for property he rented from Aarons in Boardman.
Domestic violence: A Youngstown man, 37, was taken into custody on a warrant charging him with domestic violence.
Arrest: Police arrested a 35-year-old Boardman man on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drugs and operating a vehicle under the influence. Authorities say they found prescription drugs and a knife.
Criminal mischief: Police arrested two 16-year-old Poland boys and a Canfield boy, 17, on criminal-mischief charges after a man reported several juveniles threw eggs at and damaged his vehicle near U.S. Route 224 and Hitchcock Road.
Arrest: Boardman police apprehended a 34-year-old Canton man after finding out he was wanted on a warrant charging him with larceny. The man also was charged with obstructing official business.
