Garden Forum to hold planning session


YOUNGSTOWN -- The Garden Forum of the Greater Youngstown Area will hold a president and program meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 30 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park.
The purpose of the meeting is to introduce new speakers and to help clubs prepare for meetings to be held in the coming year.
Although presidents and program chairwomen of garden clubs are encouraged to attend, all garden club members are welcome.
Any club that does not send a representative to the event will have to make arrangements to pick up informational packets. None will be mailed.
Refreshments will be provided by the board, and each club is asked to take finger foods to share.
There is no charge for the meeting, however, reservations are required by Sept. 27 by calling (330) 740-7116, Ext. 210.
