ASSOCIATIONS
XLicensed Practical Nurses Association, Division 3 of Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, will meet at 7 p.m. Mondayat Greenbriar Nursing Facility, 8064 South Ave., Boardman. "Hospice 101" will be presented by Denise Ellis, hospice provider representative. Cost is $3 for members and $5 for nonmembers. XYoungstown Music Teachers Association will meet at 3 p.m. Sunday. The piano duet program will feature members.
ATHLETIC GROUPS
XGirard High School Athletic Boosters will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the high school cafeteria.
XMcDonald Sideliners hold their monthly meetings on the third Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Blue Devil Room, the high school weight room.
AUXILIARIES
XAuxiliary of VFW Post 4192, Mineral Ridge, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the post hall.
CLASSES
XCampbell Memorial High School Class of 1954 will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Steak-N-Shake.
CLUBS
XCasa Savoia will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Steamer's Restaurant. Mary Sinesio will distribute yearbooks. The committee is Carmel Holecko and Roseann Garritano.
XKent State University Mothers Club will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesdayto tour the Wrist Connection, 7510 Market St. Dinner will be 6:30 p.m. at Johnny's, 7807 Market St. Hostesses will be Mary Ann Marinelli, Monica Skurich and Mary Beth Sammartino, who will take reservations at (330) 965-1120.
XThe first 2005-06 program meeting of the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will be 7 p.m. Mondayat Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The agenda will focus on the league's mission and priorities and include planning for the league's 2006-07 program.
XMcDonald Arts and Crafts Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the senior citizens room, post office building.

XCroatian Fraternal Lodge No. 598 will meet at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room, post office building.
XMcDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K of C Hall, Illinois Avenue.
GUILDS
XHolborn Herb Growers Guild will present "Cooking With Verbena" at 7 p.m. Tuesdayat the Colonial Inn at Canfield Fairgrounds. Hostesses are Virginia Bartos, Marion Summers, Karen Sprague and Betty Fiddler.
LIBRARY GROUPS
XHubbard Friends of the Library, 436 W. Liberty St., will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. The speaker will be Barbara Emch, local historian and author of "Hubbard."
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XDiocesan Legion of Mary Curia will meet at 12:45 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall. To join, call (330) 743-3977.
XYoungstown Council of Catholic Nurses will have a memorial Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthias Church, 115 Cornell Ave., with celebrant Monsignor Peter Polando. Lunch will follow at the church hall.

XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Scenna's Family Restaurant, 1901 N. State Street, Girard.

SINGLES
XD.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Boardman Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. Other activities include: Monday and Tuesday, dance lessons with Judy Conti at 7 p.m. at Wedgewood Plaza, cost is $5; Wednesday, meet at Dr. Shah office parking lot at 6:30 p.m. for walk on Mill Creek Path; Thursday, annual business meeting and election of officers; Sept. 23, Skate Zone Putt Putt at 7 p.m.; Sept. 24, bowling at Boardman Lanes on Market Street; Sept. 25, dance at 7 p.m. at Choices in Liberty, $3 for members and $4 for nonmembers. XHammond Organ Society of the Mahoning Valley will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 in the Fellowship Hall of Faith Community Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. Meetings are open to anyone interested in organ music.
XMahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. Mondayat St. Charles Church, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. The speaker will be Pamela L. Speis, archivist of Mahoning County Historical Society. Her topic will be "Keeping Your Family's Past." Speaker for the fall seminar Oct. 29 will be Jana Sloan Broglin; her topic is "The Keys to the Courthouse."
XTrumbull County Herb Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Champion Christian Church. The program will be on botanicals and aromatherapy. Officers for 2006 will be elected.

XB.E.A.C.O.N. (Better Emotional Awareness of Cancer and Our Needs), for breast-cancer survivors who live in Trumbull County, will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cancer Center, 667 Eastland Ave. S.E., Warren. XH.U.G.S. XThe next regularly scheduled support group meeting of the Survivors of Suicide will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Boardman Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. XTOPS 1262, McDonald, meets Wednesdays in the senior citizens room at the post office building. Weigh-in is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
