The world premier production of "Experiment in Madness" will be held at the Grand Pavilion at the Avalon Inn in Howland. This murder-mystery dinner-theater comedy written by Poland resident Gloria Dunnam Bayowski promises to be one of the funniest and most entertaining to come along in some time. Reservations are necessary and can be obtained by calling the Avalon Inn at (330) 856-1900, ext. 499. The play will run through Nov. 13.
Harajuku girls, and others, take note: Gwen Stefani (left), with special guest Ciara, will be at Cleveland State University's Wolstein Center at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and go on sale today at noon. Prices are $65.50, $49.50 and $35.50.
Tickets go on sale today for "Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh," a live stage show, Nov. 17-20 at Cleveland's State Theatre. For over 400 years, Shakespeare's "Macbeth" has remained intact -- until the Simpsons took over. "MacHomer" will run at Cleveland's Hanna Theater Oct. 18-23. The one-man show by Rick Miller (right) features impressions of over more than 50 voices from "The Simpsons" television show. The tragic play becomes both educational and hilarious. Tuesday through Friday shows start at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday shows are at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.; and the Sunday show is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 and are available by calling (216) 241-6000.
Cleveland Opera opens its season with Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin." Performances are Oct. 21, 23, 28 and 29 at the State Theatre. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m.; Sunday show is at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $130 and can be purchased at Tickets.com or by calling (216) 241-6000.
