RURAL LIFE MUSEUM
What: The Mercer County Historical Society will unveil its Rural Life Museum to the public.When: 11 to 5 p.m. next Sunday with the ribbon cutting at 1 p.m.Where: The display is in a temporary home located behind Woodland Place, the old county home, about 11/2 miles north of Mercer on Pa. Route 58.Other events: The opening is in conjunction with the Munnell Run Farm Day. Munnell Run is a nonprofit agriculture and ecology center located on the 163-acre farm that is operating on the old county home property. There will be an ox roast, music by Lee McCoy and Chuck Thorp, Blacksmithing by Cary Brant, basket making and chair seating demonstrations and displays by the Antique Power Association.
