POW/MIA vigil set in Crawford County

MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The annual 24-hour POW/MIA vigil will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at Crawford County Veterans Memorial, Diamond Park. A candle-lighting ceremony will be at 8 p.m. and the vigil will conclude at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Ride For Freedom VIII, "In Loving Memory of Gene Cinti," will be Saturday. Free registration begins at noon at B & amp;T Scooters, Route 618, Conneaut Lake, Pa., and the ride begins at 3 p.m. This is a slow, uninterrupted ride to Diamond Park. A short ceremony will take place after the arrival of all motorcycles and antique cars.
Shirts, pins and hats will be available for purchase the day of the ride.
