Mike Welce has 205 yards for Clippers
Crestview, Lisbon and Leetonia pitched shutouts.
COLUMBIANA -- Senior Mike Welce rushed 33 times for a career-high 205 yards to lead Columbiana to a 28-15 win over Rocky River Lutheran West Friday.
Welce scored four touchdowns on runs of 2, 1, 4 and 1 yards and added three conversion kicks for the Clippers (3-0).
Junior Anthony Malone spearheaded the Columbiana defense with three quarterback sacks and 10 tackles including five solos.
The Longhorns (2-1) took an early 3-0 lead but two Welce touchdowns made it 14-3 after three quarters.

NEW WATERFORD -- Adam Thompson carried eight times for 143 yards and four touchdowns to lead Crestview (2-1).
Thompson also caught a 39-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Reynolds, who completed 8 of 11 passes for 136 yards. Keith Drewnoski added 100 yards on eight carries and scored a touchdown as the Rebels outrushed Faiport Harbor 361-89.
Cliff Reinhart led Faiport Harbor with 10 carries for 33 yards.

LISBON -- Quarterback Corey Smith scored on touchdown runs of 5 and 13 yards as the unbeaten Blue Devils (3-0) built a 21-0 lead in the first half.
Sophomore running back Dana Rose rushed for 130 yards on 18 carries and scored a TD on a 1-yard run.
The Blue Devils rushed 50 times for 318 yards and were 5-of-12 for 53 yards passing.
Toronto (0-3) was limited to 30 rushing and 125 passing yards.
Leetonia 42,Jackson-Milton 0
LEETONIA -- Jake Kruegal rushed 14 times for 173 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead the Bears (2-1). Jon Williams added 88 yards on 11 carries, scored a touchdown and kicked six extra points.
Andrew Billet also scored for Leetonia.
Dean Stevens led Jackson-Milton (1-2) with 52 rushing yards on 13 carries.
Southern 49,Bridgeport 20
BRIDGEPORT -- Nick Puckett rushed for 161 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Southern.
The Indians (2-1) finished with 521 total yards, including 486 on the ground. Freshman Nathan Melhorn added 75 yards rushing and Anthony Castro rushed for 54.
Castro scored two touchdowns, one on the ground and one on Southern's only completion of the game.
Bridgeport had 133 total yards, including minus-18 in the first half. Josh Baker rushed for 118 yards and two TDs.
