The Canfield Junior Fair and Mahoning County 4-H gave awards and scholarships at a Youth Day ceremony Thursday at the fair. Awards are as follows.
4-H Flower Box: Original, Village Varities, first place; Friendly Farmers, second; and Youngstown Tailwaggers, third.
Recycled, Western Reserve Rangers, first place; Dream Catchers, second; and Pampered Pups, third.
Farm, Family & amp; Fun, Country Kids and Kritters, first place, and Farm Pets, second.
The Jean Craig award for 4-H community service: North Jackson Coral Crew, first place; the Beaver Zippers, second; and the Western Reserve Rangers, third.
Pop Shop $500 scholarship award winners: Sarah Farrant, Amanda Miller, Brian Moff and Gina Orlando.
4-H Alumni Educational Awards, $500: Abby Tierney, Canfield High School; Amanda Miller, Canfield; Ciara Kishak, Austintown Fitch; Andy Goddard, Boardman; and Brian Spencer, West Branch.
The Darrell Bacon Scholarship Award: Lacie Campbell and Brian Moff.
The 2005 Sheep and Wool Queen is Amanda Majirsky.
