WARREN -- Penn Ohio, behind the four-hit pitching effort by Steve Liebal, posted a 2-0 victory over Predator Trucking in a Warren Class AA League game at Packard Park MacGregor Field.
In pitching the complete game, Liebal struck out 11 batters.
Matt Madrid hit a double in each of the fourth and sixth innings. Mike Hanck hit a triple in the fourth inning and scored both runs for the winners.
In a losing effort, Mike Van Dyke of Predator Trucking (1-16) allowed only five hits and struck out 11.

Rudy Pekarovich hit a triple and single to spark Champion Molded Plastics. Mike Sweeney also hit a triple and single for the winners.
The Dawgs slipped to 2-15.

Derek Armstrong and Don Marsh led the winners, who jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first inning, with three hits apiece. Nick Zajaczkowski drove in three runs. Dave Nypaver hit a triple and single.
Dan Bertolini collected two hits and Scott Bender hit a triple for the Youngstown Metros.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Bud's/DiCioccio scored at least one run in every inning, four in the first, and pounded out 17 hits at Pemberton-Donnell Park.
Everyone in the starting lineup for Bud's (17-4) had at least one hit. Rick Gozur went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs batted in.
Kinsey Henderson hit a double and single and Ross Buttle, with two RBIs, and Ryan Betzler each had two singles.
Anthony Albanese (5-0) worked four innings, allowed two hits and struck out one to pick up the win.
Ray Jaminet hit a single and a double and scored twice for the losers (5-16). Josh Faltot hit a two-run triple in the fifth inning.
