Tune It Up! concert
WARREN -- The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County presents the Tune It Up! Series with R & amp;B/hip hop recording artist Marcc Gregory set to rock the stage at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Warren Amphitheatre. Admission is free. Gregory is promoting his single called "Strawberry Girl" off his debut album "Infectious" due out this fall.
Idols of the Valley
YOUNGSTOWN -- Universal Caf & eacute; of First Unitarian Church will present "Universal Idols" -- the Mahoning Valley's version of the hot TV show -- at 7 p.m. Monday. The caf & eacute; is located at 1105 Elm St., corner of Elm and Illinois, just north of Youngstown State University, across from Wick Park. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $3. Light refreshments will be available.

Art Fest on the 4th
CLEVELAND -- Studio of 5 Rings, owned and operated by Youngstown native Matt Cook at 2400 Superior Ave. (second floor of the Futon Factory), is sponsoring a booth at the Waterfront Art Fest at the Superior Viaduct in the Flats West on July 3-4. The booth will feature watercolor paintings by Dagmar Amrhein, who will be on hand to discuss her work and perform demonstrations of the watercolor technique she teaches in Youngstown.

Art On Wheels Inc., Cuyahoga County commissioners, the city of Cleveland, City Bank and the Oxbow Association are sponsoring the four-day freedom celebration, which will include the two-day art fest from noon to 6 p.m. July 3 and noon to 8 p.m. July 4. The celebration will culminate with fireworks on the river starting around 9:30 p.m.
Folk music at the library
COLUMBIANA -- Dulci-More, a folk music group from Salem, will perform at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Salchow Room at Columbiana Public Library. The group plays traditional music on a variety of folk instruments. Registration is required. Call (330) 482-5509.

New Castle musical
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- "State Fair" will open July 15 at the New Castle Playhouse fo rnine performances through July 31. Opening night wil feature a wine and cheese party for all ticket holders at 7 p.m. in the Annex Theater. The musical is an adaptation of the Rodgers & amp; Hammerstein's only production written for the screen. Timothy J. Falter, an equity actor, will play Pat Gilbert, one of the lead roles.
