XCLEVELAND -- The marriage of Ellen Fildes and Lance Yoder, both of 2576 Kemper Road, Shaker Heights, was solemnized by the Rev. Philip Racco during a 1 p.m. ceremony May 28 at Holy Rosary Church.
A reception was held at Sammy's Metropolitan Ballroom to honor the daughter of Dr. Mark and Mary Clare Fildes, 8661 Raintree Run, Poland, and the son of Robert and Sharon Yoder, 140 Jessica Drive, Dover.
Afterward the couple left on a wedding trip to Jamaica. They live at the Kemper Road address.
The bride wore an A-line gown of white satin trimmed with crystal beading around a dropped waist and featuring sheer sleeves.
Red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Clare Schwemlein, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids, Anne Fildes, also her sister, and Adrienne Dorbish and Kelly Lipinski.
Thomas Lally performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jon Gummow, William Richoux and David Drabousky. Ushers were Patrick Moore and Frank Weinberg.
The couple are graduates of Case Western Reserve University.
Mrs. Yoder holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in accountancy. She is an auditor for Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
Mr. Yoder, who earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, is a chemical engineer at Rockwell Automation in Twinsburg.
