AMY LONGSHAWN BREWER
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Shawn Brewer and his bride, the former Amy Long, honeymooned in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic following their May 28 wedding.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Larry Marshall in the Marble Room at Stambaugh Auditorium, where they were honored afterward during a reception.
The bride, a daughter of Robert and Linda Long, 3996 Claridge Drive, is a wireless account representative for S.C. Wireless in Port Huron, Mich. Parents of the groom are Ronald and Judy Brewer, 5980 Sampson Drive, Girard. The bride's classic ball gown of vanilla-pink satin was embroidered with pale gold seed beads and accented with crystal beads and rhinestones. It featured a semicathedral train and a cathedral-length veil.
Petal-pink and spring-green gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Michelle Pavlik, the bride's sister, and the bridesmaids, Lori and Kelly Brewer, the groom's sisters; Paige Brewer, his niece; and Amanda Harmon. Nikki Harris and Jen Trunko also participated.
Ronald Brewer served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Andrew Long, the bride's brother; Kevin Pavlik, her brother-in-law; Ronald Brewer III, the groom's nephew; and Pete Slaughter, his cousin.
