YOUNGSTOWN -- Patricia Greene, quality management director of Mahoning Valley Hospital, has been elected president of the Junior League of Youngstown for the 2005-06 year.
She has been a league member since 1999, and has served the executive board three years.
Other members elected to the executive board are JoAnne Stock, president-elect; and Patti Keenan, treasurer.
The league is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Youngstown league researches and develops projects such as the Children's Museum of the Valley, Hope House Visitation Center and the Ronald McDonald House.
